First Line Capital LLC,
a boutique investment banking firm, was founded in 1991 to focus
on deal architecture of debt and equity financings, mergers and
acquisitions, to implement public strategies, investor relations
and various other investment banking activities.
In the mid-nineties, First
Line participated in the launch of several high-profile companies
that were among the first to make their foray onto the Internet.
Included in this group, were the renowned Priceline.com and
E-Trade Financial. As the firm continued to build its portfolio,
First Line was likened by the media to the one-time Wall Street
“Sweetheart”, CMGI Holdings.
In recent years, as the
capital markets have begun their turn-around, First Line has
returned to focusing on traditional investment banking engagements
while also developing a specialty in listing foreign companies on
the NASDAQ stock exchange. Over the last three years, First Line
has successfully listed more than ten foreign companies.
In 2002, First Line opened
two satellite offices in Israel in order to gain exposure to that
country's quality computer science and bio-technology deal flow.
